What's the best LGA775 micro-ATX motherboard out there for an Intel Core 2 Quad Q9550 SLB8V?

I'm well aware of the power of this CPU and would like to maximize it. I do a ton of video editing and encoding and large file compressions, and I'm not sure my MSI P6NGM-FD is cutting it. I already have a CoolerMaster Centurion Micro-ATX mesh case and I love the cooling features on it, hence the need for a Micro-ATX board. I'm not exactly a gamer, and they say there is no such thing as a micro-ATX gamer motherboard, but really, what's the best out there?

Velocity Micro E2240 ProMagix?

I sold my old Dell Precision WorkStation which was fast but kept givin me fatal errors. The specs for the Dell were:

Intel Core 2 Quad 2.44GHz
2GB RAM
160GB Hard Drive
nVidia GeForce 8600GT 512MB
Windows XP Professional
975X Chipset

I returned that cause it was junk and the dealer were scammers that built these computers from spare parts thats why no parts were ever really registered with the system. I was searching and found the Velocity Micro ProMagix, SPECS:

Intel Core 2 Quad 2.44GHz
2.5GB RAM
650GB Hard Drive
nVidia GeForce 8800GTS 320BG
Windows Vista Ultimate or Windows XP Pro (I need to choose)
nVidia 650i Chipset

How much faster is my new Velocity Micro going to be over the Dell? And should I have XP or Vista on the computer. It supports both Vista and XP with compatible drivers and such. Oh, and the Velocity was $ 1.00 cheaper, haha.

the velocity will be a lot faster in gaming, and I bet you it has faster ram than the dell, so if its cheaper, then its a better deal (plus it has a lot more hard drive space)

I would get vista, since that's a DX-10 card there, no need to not use it to its max potential.
