Is red light of digital camera is harmful for 3 months old baby?

I have panasonic 8mp digital camera. I took 2-3 photos of my 3 months old baby. At the time of clicking the photo, camera shows red light on the object and then flash. Is that red light harmful for the eyes of my baby? I am really in the tension. Pls reply.

The red light is an infrared light that helps the camera focus. Red light is the lowest energy form of visible light. If anything, it'll do less damage than shining a regular old white light on your baby. You can relieve your tension.

How do you change the exposure on a digital camera for light painting?

We were light painting in my school, and I know that you have to have a long/ extended exposure for this, so that you can have your like 20 seconds to play with the various lights you have. However, I don't know how to change it and I can't find it on the internet, so... help?

The shutter feature you're looking for is known as Bulb [1]. As already mentioned, your camera doesn't have this feature - unbelievable that Nikon don't list the shutter speed range on the specification page [2] and that one has to download the manual to find that the longest shutter speed is 4 seconds.

You could try the Night Landscape mode.

NTSC is for North America and the like [3].
PAL is for Europe and co [4].
