How to connect a Sony PVM-97 Monitor to a satellite receiver?

I have a b&w Sony PVM-97 monitor. It connectes using BNC cables with a Line A & Line B. I want to connect this to my satellite receiver. I bought a BNC to F adapter in hopes that this would work however it doesn't. I also tried hooking the output of the receiver straight into the monitor using the BNC cable with the F adapter attached. Any help would be greatly appreciated!

F fittings are only used for RF signals (channel 3,4, etc). The monitor can only use composite video (or "baseband") signals (demodulated RF). If your satellite box has a composite output (yellow RCA jack) then just use an RCA to BNC cable or adapter. If the satellite box doesn't have a composite output, find an old VCR that can tune the box's modulated RF output channel (3 or 4 usually) and output a composite signal from the back of the VCR.
