Olympus Master 2 difficulties?
Ok so i'm having some problems with olympus master 2. I have my photos on the computer, that's all set. my issue is that once I make an album in their format it doesn't trade to become a "file". when I go to the file area everything is by date making it near to impossible to find anything. is there a way that I can make the album on olympus that reads "First day at the park" say that when I'm looking it up in the file format...like if I were trying to upload it to the internet. any help would be great.
on a side note another problem i'm having is that when I move a picture to an album it stays in the original album too. is there any way to simply move it and not have multiple copies? thanks again
I stopped using Olympus Master because of the inconvenience of the interface and removed it from my computer three years ago. But I believe that you are operating under a misconception on how it works.
This software, like many other organizer programs uses relational database technology to minimize duplication of large data files (pictures, in this case). When you make an Album I believe it simply adds a "pointer" to the file location, there is not really a "copy" of the picture in the album. Each album is like an index to the pictures so you can view the picture in the order they were entered into the album. I seem to recall that there was a way to perform some basic sorts on those indexes but they were not very comprehensive. That is the reason the pictures stay in the "Original" album, too. Each new album simply points back to the original picture.
Consider getting a copy of Picassa or another software program to manage your photo images because there are a number of much more comprehensive choices then Oly Master.
Here is a link to Picassa (it is FREE from Google). Or just Google the word "picassa" to find many links.

Olympus Mons and Huygens Crater on Mars?
What do you think about the possibility that a huge meteorite could hit the Mars, creating the Huygens Crater and causing bulge on its opposite side what is known as Olympus Mons? Why I thought of it because this happened to the Earth when a meteorite hit it and created Gulf of Mexico.
Not likely....Olympus Mons...is...or was a volcano that is about 15 miles in height..
