Can a Lexmark 7300 series printer be used with a Linksys wrt54g wireless router?

I want to hook my Lexmark 7300 series printer to my wireless router without having to have the printer plugged into my computer. Is this possible? Thank you.

Yes, you can. You don't need to have it connected to a computer like pisces above thinks. What you need to do is get a print server for your printer that will connect your printer to the router and allow you to use it from any computer that has the printer drivers loaded and configured to access the printer through the router. It's done all the time. You can use a wired or wireless print server depending on what you want and one that is compatible with your printer's interface which is USB. I'd recommend the wired approach as wireless often restricts the advanced options of multi-function printers.

No that will just blow the electronic boards, most of our electronics is set up for 120 volt, you must use a converter, not just because of the power difference but the U ground plug we use is probably not the same as it is in India, to be sure contact Canon I have talked to them for 20 years they will tell you how to do this, hope this has helped good luck.
