DOG Hair Clippers Blade Help Please?

I shave my long-haired dachshund's lower legs to short-hair-length. I got new clippers I like but the blade that came on there is not getting his hair short enough (it barely has any affect I don't think the unit is faulty). The clippers are Oster Model #151-04, Series A, brandnew. I do not want a surgical clip but I want that hair short. My dog has dense thick medium length hair that is straight. What's the blade number that would take this to short hair length for this clipper, (I already use no blade guard) and where's the cheapest source to purchase it? Thanks!

Depends on how short you want the hair. Do you want the hair to appear to look like a smooth coated Dachshund? If so then you should use a #7F blade. The best place to purchase blades from is at Ryan's Pet Supplies. They are a wholesale distributor.

Exclusivity health organization contracts, are they legal?

I am a physician at a major hospital institution. I provide vascular surgery services to the patient and I am part of an academic institution. The hospital we use as our working/main hospital is wanting to sign an exclusive contract with a group of cardiovascular surgeon to provide surgical services. They say "we" are not excluded. The real effect will be that we will not have anything to do because they will "huge" everything. We can go out of business. Is there not a law or Supreme Court ruling regarding these contracts and how that limits others physicians right to practice medicine? Is there a source I can use to educate myself and be more prepared to fight it back?
