Any tips for a light, fluffy icing reminiscent of whipped cream?

The basic buttercream came out harder, and sweeter, than I was hoping for.

Any foolproof recipes?

Any tips re. "you want these ingredients," "don't use too much of X," etc? Light and creamy is what I'm going for, not sugary and hard.

WEDDING CAKE ICING

2 egg whites
2 tsp. vanilla
4 tbsp. flour
4 tbsp. milk
2 c. 10X sugar
1 c. Crisco
Pinch of salt

Mix all ingredients together, beat until fluffy.

Cerumen Removal: Tips & Techniques Part1

My lucky bamboo's leaves are turning white and the tips are turning a bit brown. It only has a bit of sun.

The plant get a slight bit of sun from a frosted window. Why would it be turning light green and having the tips turn light brown. Does it need fertilizer or a bigger bowl?? Please help!! I have had my bamboo for 4 years.
