What would you wear to a formal evening wedding?
I am a guest at my brothers formal wedding wedding (March 25) that is in the evening. I have a couple of choices:
1. Black velvet, beaded bodice, sleeveless dress. Ankle length.
2. Light blue satin, halter gown with some embroidery around the waist. Ankle length.
3. Cream colored, draped bodice swags at neckline, black and sparkling flowers with a matching black cardigan. Knee length.
4. Forest green velvet suit, sheath dress underneath, matching jacket. Calf length.
Also, please tell why.
The cream dress is a small floral print but the print is all one color-black. It has some beading/sparkles on 50% of the flowers. Very understated.
the blue or cream. i'm a fashion designer and i can tell you that velvet is for the holiday seasons. its becoming spring and the other 2 choices are more acceptable. i don't know exactly what they look like, but pick the one that's more up to date. i don't understand the 3rd one. a cream dress with a cowl neckline and is knee length. but it also has black sparkly flowers all over it? i'm confused.

belly button piercing!?
Ive had a belly button piercing for...4 months. 4.5 maybe. ok so it was going great then i decided to changed it and clean it without a piercing. so a light sheath of skin came over and i pierced through it. so its been a month. i never touched it again. nothing seems to be wrong. im very sterile. i clean it with band aid wash (its the same as soap and water only more convenient) and i use H2ocean (salt water solution) it looks a bit dry like white ashy type, but ill put Vaseline on it. there is very PALE PALE redness, but nothing serious (but it is slightly red cause i pierced over a scar and the scar has just always had a redness to it but ya cant tell), there are no bumps or anything. there is sometimes that white stuff that comes out. nothing smelly or weird about it. should i just keep doing what im doing and wait till october (one year)?
well it hasnt been a month....maybe alil more or alil less. cant remember...
doenst sound like anything is wrong, and you probably dont need to go to the doctor, but like what was said - just dont over clean it. All my piercing I've only used non-iodized salt water on them, twice a day, and at least for a month (all depends on how fast they healed (industrial was a mother- fuker))
anywho - ... oh right... I think, from my experience, that as long as you leave it in for a month - a month and a half, and they looked healed (no crust, dont bleed, dont hurt) then they should be fine to take out as you please. But if you take it in and out too often, itll become irratated. And if you leave it out too long (even piercings that youve had for years) they can heal up.
