What equipment is needed to run a 3 camera video system to record and mix videos of bands at a club?

What kind of cameras? What kind of video mixer or software? And should I use a dvd burner or a computer or something else? This system would use 3 video cameras to record bands at a club and then offer a dvd of their show right after their set is done. So it would have to be pretty quick process. The budget is modest also. I'm not looking to spend more than is needed.Thanx for input.

its more than an equipment question. what about people? 3 cameras means 3 operators. you will need a digital mixer that accepts 3 wild video inputs for example is Panasonic WJMX-50. This mixer can also handle simple audio mixing as well. It also requires an operator. you will need 4 video monitors (one for each camera plus the program out). It will be very difficult to get a quick turn-around that you want. Even recording on DVD will require finalization before it can be copied. You will need a computer or stand alone duplicator so that the DVD can be copied in faster than real time, 4x is usual. so your patrons will need to wait around for at least 30 minutes before you can hand them a copy.

the 3 camera operators can be eliminated if you buy remote controlled cameras and a central controller. but this means a lot more money upfront. Expect to spend at least $20,000. You might consider hiring a consultant engineer to help with the equipment specs, cable layout and initial set up and trouble shooting.
