Can I have HDMI for Video and Fiber for Audio on the same Receiver?

Im going to use a DVI to HDMI from my computer and therefor only the video will carry, I also want to run it through this receiver

But can i run something else from my computer for audio,
or maybe i should be asking can i have audio and video sources seperate on this receiver?

Yup. I'm currently running audio from my computer to my Onkyo 606 through S/PDIF (I was lucky enough to have bought a computer with digital audio. It was totally by accident before I understood this stuff.)

At the moment I don't have an HDTV, but when I get one I will be running video out through one of the DVI ports.I'm assuming it will work just like a second monitor.

Another option for audio if you don't have an S/PDIF output is to use a 3.5mm headphone jack to composite RCA cable. These are much more common and dirt cheap (under $5). Lower quality audio, but it does work.
