Which camera case should I get for a Nikon D90?

I ordered a Nikon D90 body and 18-200 mm lens from Amazon and am expecting to receive it tomorrow; however, I do not have a carrying case for it! I am trying to decide between 2 cases:

I am leaning towards the 2nd one, as I will receive it much quicker. I need some protection for my camera! Any advice? I only have the one lens for the camera, so I don't know if that will make a difference.

Neither.

One reason for using a camera bag is to conceal that you're walking around with... about $1500 worth of gear. Having a large Nikon logo on the bag defeats this purpose. I'm proud of my camera, too, but I don't want to advertise that I'm walking around with it at 1 AM on a subway platform.

Both of these bags are also snug fits. Even if you don't intend to buy additional lenses or a flash in the immediate future, consider if you want to use your camera bag as a day pack. If you do, you'll need some extra space for non-photography items (a book, a small bottle of water, ...).

I suggest you take everything you want to store in the bag to a camera shop and try a few different models.

What type of lens will fit my Olympus E410?

If I was to get this lens adaptor for my E410 could I get some Nikon lens? Would this allow me to fit different types of lens?

Any Four-Thirds lens can be mounted onto the E-410 without an adapter. Olympus, Panasonic/Leica, and Sigma are currently the only manufacturers making lenses for 4/3. The 4/3 standard was completely built from the ground up for digital photography so legacy lenses will not fit without the use of an adapter.

The Nikon to 4/3 adapter you're talking about will allow you to mount Nikon F-mount lenses on your E-410. Keep in mind though that the lenses will be completely manual. Any autofocus/auto-aperture features will not work. If the lens does not have a manual focus or aperture ring then you won't be able to operate them.

Do you already have Nikkor glass? If you have Nikon lenses then it may be fun to use them on your DSLR if $30 isn't too much money to you. Using them is a breeze with Live View.

Older Nikon lenses were not designed for digital (remember the 2x crop factor) so what may have produced sharp 35mm results may not necessarily do the same for a JPEG or RAW. Unless the lenses you have, if any, are exceptionally well-preforming then you won't be using them very seriously. They are a cheap alternative if you're looking for faster or longer lenses but most of them need to be stopped down for the best results.

If you already own Nikon lenses: sure. If you plan on buying manual Nikon lenses for your E-410: it's probably best to save up for better offerings.
