Using regular microscope to do saliva ovulation test?
Has anyone tried this? Would using a regular microscope work?
Or do I have to buy the saliva ovulation predictor kits? Because it would take a while for shipping and some don't provide shipping to my country.
I've been using OPKs strips but often I don't catch the surge (even if I use it twice a day, it might just show an "almost positive"). So I'm thinking of using this saliva testing method. Has anyone used it and what's your opinion on it?
First morning pee for OPK's is best (I know pack says other wise but I was always missing my surge to) Once i started in morning got it every month. Once you no a pattern you can time intercourse to the tee! First positive OPK have intercourse the day after and so on until all your other fertilie signs have gone, as the OPK detect the LH surge you don't ovulate the same day (inital mistake I made).
The saliva microscopes aren't that great anyway I found that my microscope readings never matched my other fertilie signs; so try temping, checking cervix and cervical fluid, heaps easier and more realiable. Check out www.fertilityfreind.com this is a super helpful website and has a free data entry chart page for all your info so you can start seeing a regular pattern of your cycles etc.

Can a smear test show if you have stage 1 cervical cancer?
I've searched but it says only a microscope or something like that can spot it, but if you have a smear test will it show stage 1 aswel?
My Mum has a cervical smear a couple of months ago, and they found abnormal cells, and had to have lazer treatment (caloposky or something), I think this is stage one. When she recieves her results, if the laser treatment has not worked i think this will then be stage two.

Sometimes cats retain their stool from stress – he just moved to a new home, and the vet visit was probably stressful for him too.
Some cats are lactose intolerant, some are not. You will soon find out if yours is or not. Inducing diarrhea is not a cure for constipation. Liquid diarrhea can come out around the hard mass of stool still inside.
If he hasn't had a solid bowel movement yet, call your vet. They have inexpensive and effective laxatives for cats. Get him one soon – if the problem goes too far, he will need to go to the vet for an enema, and that can get expensive.
